If you are a new player I strongly recommend you to save the respec that you get from completing the first mission, called Den of Evil. You can still run through Nightmare difficulty if you insist, but I wouldn't recommend it, as you'll find much better options at that point in the game. It is important to note that this build guide is for the first difficulty (Normal) and up to around Lvl 40. Additionally, the required equipment pieces are very easy to farm during the early-game, so you won't have to worry about that either. You just need to assign the Skills, aim to the Enemies and spam the attack button. This Sorceress build is great for new players because it is very easy to set up and use. Using the Teleport skill, allows you to quickly move through the map and stay safe during fights, while the Static Field skill can be used to quickly get rid of Bosses. (.The Fire Spitter Sorceress uses powerful Fire Balls to quickly annihilate groups of enemies as well as individual targets. SF and a well equipped Act II tank merc with a FAST weapon that has lifetap on it and in those cases where you have fire and cold immune, drive the mob down with SF as much as possible and let the merc finish it off. Your main gun is FO, a few blasts of SF to knock down a tough mob quickly, FW to back you up in those zones like Bloody Fields where firewall seems to do really well or when you hit cold resistant / immune. Gear should be aimed for max fast cast, mana regen, run speed, and max hell mode resists. They probably never tried to solo a boss on a 8 person hell mode game. Dont listen to the people that say invest zero into energy. And its pre some nerfs too, but I intend on trying it. Its old school what we called tweaker sorc, and you will hear a LOT of conflicting advice, and this build was conceived partially because of the LoD expansion, but based still on old school thinking. This is what my intended build is going to be.
